Sexual Violence: ChISVA service

Children’s Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ChISVA):

A ChISVA is an independent advocate who provides practical and emotional support to children and young people aged 5 to 17 years, who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation at any time during their life.

They provide emotional and practical support and can liaise between the police, courts and other agencies, acting as an advocate for the child.

Our ChISVA is totally child-focused and non-judgmental, working together with a range of other professionals to provide information, advice and support for victims.
This is a free and independent service.

Children may be referred to us by the police or another organisation supporting the child.   Families can also self-refer to access support.

You can do this by calling 01624 679950 or emailing enquiries@victimsupport.im
