About Us

Victim Support Isle of Man (VSIOM) is an independent charity which helps people affected by crime and other traumatic events. We offer a free and confidential service, whether or not a crime has been reported and regardless of how long ago the event took place.

Founded on a deep commitment to justice and compassion, we operate independently, offering non-judgmental and confidential support to anyone who has been affected by crime and trauma.

Our Success Stories

“VSIOM has changed my life. I would never have found the strength to leave my relationship. There are no words to express how much your time, support and just listening has saved my life. I love my life now and the person that I have become. I never thought I could be this happy on my own and learn how to handle/see the behaviours of my ex partner. My child has a happy, healthy parent and the best future ahead of them because of you.""

VSIOM is so invaluable and no words can express how thankful I am to you.

    As a volunteer, you will:
  • Provide emotional support to people at difficult moments
  • Help with practical support in court as a Witness Service Volunteer
  • Work alongside trained staff who guide you through every case
  • Make a measurable impact on someone's ability to recover.
  • Assist with fundraising and awareness events for VSIOM
