Team Update!
We are delighted to provide a quick update regarding our team here at VSIOM!
Firstly, we are so pleased to welcome Claire Klein to the team as “Training Coordinator and Welfare Officer”, who joined us at the beginning of April. We are undertaking a project, which has kindly been supported by the Keith Jones Foundation, to develop a structured training programme for volunteers (and our paid team) along with developing an awareness programme for organisations. We will be providing more information about both as Claire develops the programme over the coming months.
Claire brings a wealth of experience to the role and we are loving having her on board!
Secondly, we are proud to tell you that Kelly Knight has obtained her IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor) qualification to join her ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) qualification, and as a result of her obtaining these qualifications, and in recognition of her completing 10 years of service at VSIOM, she now has the role of “Senior Welfare Officer”. Kelly’s role includes supporting and providing guidance to the team, as well as colleagues in other agencies, especially in cases of Domestic Abuse and Sexual Abuse/Violence.

Welcome Claire and Congratulations Kelly!!
